May 20, 2020: I recently posted a picture on Instagram of a drawing of Elizabeth Manley that I did a few years ago. It was a picture of her with the medal won in figure skating at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. I tagged Elizabeth when I posted the drawing on Instagram.
Something really cool happened, she saw it. Something even cooler happened, she really liked it and was asking if it was available. I’ll shorten the story here and say that I indeed mailed it to her. Today I received in my email this photo of Elizabeth with the drawing I made. It is indeed one of the high points of my art career.
